Edwin van Gameren es maestro en Econometría por la Universidad Erasmus de Rotterdam y doctor en Economía por la Universidad Libre de Amsterdam. Edwin van Gameren trabajó por varios años en el Instituto Holandés para la Investigación Social, en temas sobre la demanda y el uso de cuidados en el largo plazo, y las decisiones de cuidado de niños y la participación de la fuerza de trabajo. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen la aplicación de métodos microeconométricos en la economía laboral y en la economía de la salud.

Edwin van Gameren holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam. He has a M. A. in Econometrics from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He worked for several years at the SCP/The Netherlands Institute for Social Research, mainly on questions regarding the demand for and the use of long-term care, and on childcare and labor force participation decisions. His research interests include the application of microeconometric methods in the fields of labor and health economics.
